The Saint Gregory Institute of Sacred Music’s Chant and Polyphony for Parish Musicians workshop was held between July 22 and 24, 2019 in suburban Pittsburgh, PA.  The workshop, attended by fifteen music directors, choristers, and students from throughout western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio, featured sung Mass each evening and culminated in an Extraordinary Form Votive Mass of the Holy Ghost at Mary, Help of Christians Church, McKees Rocks.  The Mass, offered by Fr. Aleksandr Schrenk on the occasion of the founding of the Institute, was attended by over 100 people and featured Gregorian propers, Hassler’s Missa Secunda, and motets by Pitoni and Croce.  Our thanks to Fr.
