Gregorian Chant I:
The Gregorian Melody: The Expressive Power of the Word
An introduction to historically-informed performance practice of Gregorian chant. The systematic presentation of the principal qualities of Gregorian melody will complement and prepare for singing of the repertoire, with special attention to the syllabic repertoire of the Mass and Office.
